: A deed of agreement was signed between Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd. (PGCB) and Siemens Ltd., India to design, supply, erect, test and commission work of
expansion of Aminbazar grid substation for PGCB. The contract was awarded for an amount of Euro836, 431.00 and BDT8, 744,515.00 to do the work on turnkey basis. Mr. Jose Joseph, Vice President (High Voltage Substation) and Ms. Nishi Saksena, Sr. Manager (Commercial), High Voltage System of Siemens Ltd. India on behalf of contractor and Mr. Md. Ashraf Hossain, Company Secretary of PGCB on behalf of employer signed the agreement on 16 June 2010 in presence of high officials of PGCB.
