: Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd. has assigned SIEMENS Consortium Old Airport Project to design, supply, erect, test and commission a 230/132/33kV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substation at Old Airport, Dhaka. A deed of agreement for an amount of Euro10,178,991.00 and BDT140,143,831.00 executed on 11 April 2010 between the two organizations in a simple ceremony. Mr. Md. Ashraf Hossain, Company Secretary of PGCB on behalf of the employer and Mr. Joachin Heyl, Vice President (Business Administration ), Siemens AG, Germany; Mr. Jose Joseph, Vice President (High Voltage Substation), Siemens Ltd., India and Mr. Avik Kumar Roy, Director-Energy Sector, Siemens Bangladesh Ltd. on behalf of SIEMENS Consortium Old Airport Project signed the agreement at Dhaka. |
